Wait, What?
It looks like the Washington football team is about to get a new name. It is a great opportunity to re-brand them in a positive image. Some folks are suggesting they be called the "Washington Generals." But wait! That name is already in use by the team that loses every game to the Harlem Globetrotters. Haven't we had enough losing in Washington?
One of our "Fighting Admirals" crew members has suggested that FedEx field be re-christened "The Battleship." Excellent idea.
Another reader suggested that instead of honoring admirals the name should recognize the magnificent contributions of our senior enlisted personnel. But we have an answer for that too. Just give the Kansas City Chiefs a new logo...a Chief Petty Officer's anchor.
